Con gran tristeza, anunciamos el sensible fallecimiento de José Guadalupe Castro el 15 de septiembre del 2022. José fue nuestro amado padre, abuelo, bisabuelo y tío, y su amada familia
y amigos cercanos lo extrañarán mucho. A José le sobreviven su esposa Lydia Castro, sus hijos Marcos Francisco, Rita Delfina, Reyna, Gilda Andrea, Lydia, Adriana y German Castro. José tiene 12 nietos y 13 bisnietos. Jose nacio en la Ciudad de Mexico el 12 de diciembre de 1927. Fue el menor de cinco hijos. José fue bautizado como miembro de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días en Salt Lake City, Utah en 1979. Sirvió en llamamientos como Secretario, Primer y Segundo Consejero en el Barrio Cuicuilco en la Ciudad de México.
José estuvo casado con Lydia Haro en 1956. Se sellaron juntos en el templo de Jordan River el 2 de noviembre de 2013. Vivio en los Estados Unidos de America desde el 1986.
A Jose le gustaba escuchar musica clasica, de orquesta y fue buen bailarin de danzon. Era un jugador competitivo de damas chinas, dominos y juegos de cartas. En su tiempo libre le gustaba
manejar a diferentes lugares con su familia. El funeral se llevará a cabo en el edificio del Barrio Coppermountain de La Iglesia de Jesucristo
de los Santos de los Últimos Días el 20 de septiembre de 2022 a las 10 am. La direccion es 4333 S 6400 W, West Valley City, UT 84128. José será sepultado en la Ciudad de México.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of José Guadalupe Castro on September 15, 2022. José was our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle, and he will be
greatly missed by his loving family and close friends. José is survived by his wife Lydia Castro, his children Marcos Francisco, Rita Delfina, Reyna,
Gilda Andrea, Lydia, Adriana and German Castro. José has 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Jose was born in Mexico City on December 12, 1927. He was the youngest of five children. José was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1979. He served in callings as Secretary, First and Second Counselor in Barrio Cuicuilco in Mexico City. José was married to Lydia Haro in 1956. They were sealed together in the Jordan River Temple on November 2, 2013.
He has lived in the United States of America since 1986. Jose liked to listen to classical music, Big Band music and he was a great danzón dancer. He was
a competitive player of Chinese checkers, dominoes, and card games. In his free time, he liked to drive to different places with his family.
Funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Copper mountain Ward building on September 20, 2022, at 10 am. The address is 4333 S 6400 W, West Valley
City, UT 84128.

José will be buried in Mexico City.
