On November 12, 1981, Juan and Judith Moreno experienced the joy, blessing, wonder, and responsibility of being the parents of their first handsome baby boy who they named Richard Andres Moreno. October 26, 2024 shall forever be etched in their hearts and memories as one of the most difficult days of their lives. On this day, Richard A Moreno passed beyond the veil to be happily greeted by their loved ones who have preceded him.
It is the faith of the Moreno Family, that death is not the end; but an important part of the Plan of Salvation. It is their conviction that one day they shall meet again! When Richard was a small child, one of his seven aunts asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up; he said that he wanted to be married and have lots of kids. This he did! He was married three times to Janet, Joana, and Alexis. He had seven biological children. Their names in order of appearance are: Jordan Andres (23), Isabelle America (21), Jasmine Emperatris (19), Richard Antonio (17), Aaliyah Richelle (16), Markus Aurelious (8), and Ariel (6). He was also blessed with two beautiful step-children Aaliyah (17), and John (15) that he shared with his wife the love of his life Alexis Moreno.
Since his childhood he also expressed a desire to serve his Country. Before graduating from High School, he enlisted for four years in the United States Marine Corps. To his disappointment, due to medical reasons, he was released early from this important service. Some of the best friends from his Company that were deployed to the war, never made it back alive. His Sargent, lost his two legs. This was a tragedy very difficult for him to grapple with. He enjoyed sports and staying physically strong.
Following in his father’s footsteps, he obtained a Bachelors in 3-D Animation. He was gifted with people skills; his conversations were always entertaining and delightful. Throughout his life, he always enjoyed the love and support of his only brother, Juan Carlos Moreno. Until we meet again dear Richard!
