Mary Zenobia Avendaño

May 24, 1934 – March 1, 2024, Mary Zenobia Avendaño lived a fulfilling life as a mother, sister, and friend. She loved knitting, reading, cooking, and good music. She was a very independent person always trying to look after her grown-up children.

Mary is survived by her four children: Ruben Rivera (Holly), John Lazo (Shawnna), George Lazo (Flor), and Dante Lazo (Felicitas), along with their children and granchildren. Mary is also survived by one brother Enrique Avendaño and sisters: Jacinta Avendaño, Clodoalda Avendaño, Alejandrina Avendaño, Maria Avendaño, and Martha Avendaño. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Norka Albarran

Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met.
