Our beautiful angel, Leonor Rosas was born Christmas Eve 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the first daughter of Ninoska Criollo. She spent her early years in Kearns, Utah where she attended David Gourley Elementary School. When she moved to Lumberton, North Carolina she attended Carroll Middle School (5th and 6th grades) followed by 7th and 8th grades at Lumberton Jr High. After attending Lumberton Senior High School (9th through 12th grades) she graduated in 2016. Several years later she returned to be with her mom and siblings in Utah. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and most recently attended the Kearns YSA Ward.

Leonor’s favorite color was purple. She loved K-pop music and the Korean culture and food. She always wanted to travel to South Korea to experience the culture. She also loved Japanese anime. With her love for reading fiction, her favorite book was Magna, a memoir of the enduring spirit. She certainly had that enduring spirit as she had a delicate heart condition which lead to her passing beyond the veil to return and be with her Savior and her dear grandmothers Nela and Doris on June 14th, 2025 at the young age of 27.

While closest to her sister Ninoska, she was also blessed to be surrounded by other loving siblings: Ahmed, Noelia, Alijah, Belkan, Kevin, and Noel. She has many other aunts, uncles, and cousins who love her and will miss her dearly.

Leonor will always be remembered for her good sense of humor and sweet and gentle nature. Even in the last days leading up to her passing, she was very encouraging and positive to those around her.

Nuestra hermosa angelita, Leonor Teague Rosas, nació la Nochebuena de 1997 en Salt Lake City, Utah. Fue la primogénita de Ninoska Criollo. Pasó sus primeros años en Kearns, Utah, donde asistió a la Escuela Primaria David Gourley. Al mudarse a Lumberton, Carolina del Norte, cursó 5.º y 6.º grado en la Escuela Intermedia Carroll, y posteriormente 7.º y 8.º grado en la Escuela Secundaria Lumberton. Después de cursar 9.º a 12.º grado en la Escuela Secundaria Lumberton, se graduó en 2016. Años después, regresó a Utah para estar con su madre y sus hermanos. Fue miembro de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días y, recientemente, asistió al Barrio Kearns de Jóvenes Solteros (YAS).

El color favorito de Leonor era el morado. Amaba la música K-pop, la cultura y la comida coreana. Siempre quiso viajar a Corea del Sur para experimentar la cultura. También le encantaba el anime japonés. Con su pasión por la lectura de ficción, su libro favorito era Magna, una autobiografía de un espíritu perseverante. Sin duda, poseía ese espíritu perseverante, ya que padecía una delicada afección cardíaca que la llevó a traspasar el velo para regresar con su Salvador y sus queridas abuelas Rafaela Criollo y Doris Gómez el 14 de junio de 2025, a la temprana edad de 27 años.

Aunque era más cercana a su hermana Ninoska, también tuvo la suerte de estar rodeada de otros hermanos cariñosos: Ahmed, Noelia, Alijah, Belkan, Kevin y Noel. Tiene muchas otras tías, tíos y primos que la quieren y la extrañarán mucho.

Leonor siempre será recordada por su buen sentido del humor y su carácter dulce y gentil. Incluso en los últimos días previos a su fallecimiento, fue muy alentadora y positiva con quienes la rodeaban.
